- Categories should be in the areas that are most significant to the subject. In the case of Marina Verenikina, those are the ones related to her singing, songwriting, and playing of instruments. Category:Russian poets is tangential; nothing in the article mentions that she writes poetry. In the case of the composer category, there's a distinction between composers (classical music) and songwriters (other forms); Verenikina is a songwriter. Finally, as with Category:Russian musicians, which I removed today, she's already in that category by extension, because she's in the subcategory of Russian pianists. If a person is in the "child" category (pianists), they should not also be in the "parent" one (musicians). —C.Fred (talk) 23:28, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:Thejadefalcon, you will be blocked from editing. I'd have thought you'd learn. Since not, here's another remember. Do not attack other editors. I've been friendly, I've put up with you. This warning isn't for me, it's for Coldplay Expert, who you attacked. Not everyone likes the same sort of music. Some people, like me, like Tchaikovsky. Others don't. Some people, like me, like Meat Loaf. Others would like to crucify him. Let me reiterate: do not attack other editors. ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 21:45, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. 31 hour common NPA sanction. When you were first reported to AIV I declined the report because it seemed that you were upset about Soviet imagery being misused and were a little intemperate. It happens. The reporting editor JadeFalcon argued the point but eventually did not pursue the matter. A little while after the report is removed you returned with further insults about other editors, etc. So while you are indeed blocked for the renewal of personal attacks, it is the result of your stupidity that you got reported. LessHeard vanU (talk) 23:26, 29 December 2009 (UTC) ps. Calling you stupid is not a personal attack, it is an observation of your actions.

below. Tan | 39 00:33, 11 January 2010 (UTC) This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
The next time you make a personal attack as you did at User talk:Thejadefalcon, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Don't even bother starting again. If you want to actually contribute to the encyclopaedia, then actually do so. If not, just leave, save an admin the trouble of blocking you again. re: blocking
In reply to this comment on my talk page:
I did not reply to this comment because I didn't think anything positive could come of replying to it. While I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that you typoed my name in that comment, the three subsequent misspellings cast a little doubt on that. Accordingly, I'm not sure whether it's an honest inquiry or a troll.
If you'd like to have a future editing on Wikipedia, I encourage you to make some constructive edits to articles. Make sure you cite reliable sources—and be prepared for your edits to be challenged or undone if you don't. Be prepared for your edits to be challenged or undone if you apply categories that are redundant, are parent categories of subcategories the article is already in, or are otherwise inappropriate. If that happens, discuss the matter, civilly and focused on the facts of the edit and not accusations about the editor, on the talk page of the article.
If you're unwilling to do that, if you're going to continue dredging over prior matters, then I will go ahead and reverse an edit I didn't make today: the request to the administrator's noticeboard for another set of eyes to look at your comment to Thejadefalcon and your reply here to consider whether another block is warranted for those edits. —C.Fred (talk) 02:55, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
