New administrator activity requirement
The administrator policy has been updated with new activity requirements following a successful Request for Comment.
Beginning January 1, 2023, administrators who meet one or both of the following criteria may be desysopped for inactivity if they have:
- Made neither edits nor administrative actions for at least a 12-month period OR
- Made fewer than 100 edits over a 60-month period
Administrators at risk for being desysopped under these criteria will continue to be notified ahead of time. Thank you for your continued work.

Possible small problem with MenoBot
Hello Meno25, I am a Wikipedia author from the German (my native language) and sometimes English Wikipedia. Coincidentally, I saw that in the Arabian article about the Italian man Lapo Elkann, the MenoBot inserted a new Commons picture of the man to the article, with which everything seems ok. What I observed, however: When you look into the Commons File which was inserted, this particular article is not listed in the section "Global File usage" at the end of the file description, while about 12-14 other language versions of the Wikipedia are listed there. Differently said, it seems as if for some reason the Commons software overlooks either the above language version, or it may have something to do with the way MenoBot works. Hope this helps, Best Regards, Pittigrilli (talk) 14:22, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Pittigrilli: Thank you for your message. Works for me (The link showing file usage on arzwiki is displayed correctly for me.) If you want to report any problem in Commons, please use Phabricator. My bot work has nothing to do with this issue. Thank you. --Meno25 (talk) 16:07, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
