Cheeta, do you know what games are being played on Wednesday 2nd July in the Thailand Premier League?

Druryfire (talk) 14:57, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the answer, I think Germany will win tonight, they always seem to have that luck, they are not great side, but everyone works for each other. But i really want Spain to final win something, hopefully it will be a good game.

RE:Stephane Baga to FC Zorya Luhansk

Sorry, I don't know the fees involved during the transfer of "Stephane Baga" to Zorya, because both the article I referenced and the official site just say that they acquired Baga from Chonburi and that he has played in Asian Champions League, where he scored one goal against Melbourne. There is no information about the type of transfer. Sorry for not offering any useful information. --Shustfan (talk) 17:29, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thai Season History

Cheeta, i've amended the look to the season's in the Premier League. Basically, the Infobox at the start of every page, i have amended to show how the clubs did in themk compeitions for that season. Hence, for example, 1996/97 season, Thai Farmers Bank FC played in the Asian Club Championship, so i have shown what round they reached, rather than saying who would play the following season. I did this, as well as changing the promotion statitics, as some teams were down for promotion and relegation, notbaly Bangkok Christian College FC. So for Premier League you can see their is No Promotion, which is true as there isn't and if you look at Thailand Division 1 League 2008, you can see where i have written down the promotion teasm and releagtion teams to suit that year.

Hope i haven't confused you on this, but if you look at amendments i ahve done, you will grasp the idea i am after.

Regards

With regards to the 2009 season's. I think soon we can start creating after the Premier League season is finished, but a couple of questions, do you want to keep in same format? I think they work well. And what are the plans from FAT, are they introducing a 3rd divison? Druryfire (talk) 10:22, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I go Thailand Again

Hi Cheeta, just to let you know that i am going to Thailand again with my wife in December, i will be stayingn Bangkok for a few nights then maybe we go to the North of Thailand to see some friends and then to the South to se my wifes family. Maybe if you are not too busy we can meet up one day whilst we are in Bangkok? I arrive on 13th December, just after AFF Suzuki Cup Group Stage matches, silly me i miss them!

Druryfire (talk) 18:04, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not very good with the areas of Bangkok, but i normally stay at this hotel http://www.nasavegashotel.com/ on Ramkhamhaeng Road. We will only be there for a couple of days and do some shopping and sightseeing again before we leave to go to Krabi. I think our plan is to go to Koh Samei and Surat Thani and next year when we go again we will take Su's parents to go to either Hong Kong or Singapore. Anyway, we leave UK on 12th and arrive 13th, so we maybe stay until 15th or 16th in Bangkok, so if any of your plan change then you can let us know (before we leave on 12th) and can maybe see who each other is

All the best

Bangkok Bank

Hi Cheeta, thats surprising news about Bangkok Bank maybe disbanding. It would be truely sad if it happens as they are like the forebearers of the league.

Hope something can be sorted so they can contiune playing. Not really sure why they would be the only team to fold, as surely more teams are formed in the same way as them.

Thanks for uploading File:Nakhonpathom FC.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Thanks for uploading File:Coke Bangpra FC.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Thanks for uploading File:Mtufc.png. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 11:39, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Thailand Tobacco Monopoly FC.svg

Thanks for uploading File:Thailand Tobacco Monopoly FC.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:07, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Thailand Division1 league.png

Thank you for uploading File:Thailand Division1 league.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:11, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The aforementioned concerns also apply to File:Chonburi FC Former Logo.png and File:Coke Bangpra FC.jpg. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:27, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image use in userboxes

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically User:KungDekZa/Thai football, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:53, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I undid your cut n paste move

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give 2016 Thai Premier League a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2016 Thai League. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 05:20, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Invite to the African Destubathon

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
