Hey and welcome!
I'm sorry this Baseball1015 guy kinda ruined your first moments on Wikipedia, but here's a welcome message anyway :)
The edits you made looked good and promising, so please do continue and improve the articles you are interested in. It's also great that you've found your way to some of our WikiProject talk pages. They are great places to seek help if you need it.
I left the Baseball1015 guy a nice message and I hope he responds well.

Do you happen to have any information I might've missed for the three original SaGa games?--Kung Fu Man (talk) 23:41, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Akitoshi Kawazu and the SaGa series designers hosted a "Premium Fan Event" last year and talked about the history of the series, but I don't know how much of it was devoted to the first three games: [1] [2] [3] [4] Jonathan Hardin' (talk) 08:14, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

You clearly have no idea what trolling means. I am not trolling, I was reverting hasty, uneducated edits. Kefka's full name is "Kefka Palazzo" in both regions, its just a bit more obscure in the English games. The Clawed One (talk) 19:46, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Enix home computer games
Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Enix home computer games. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Enix. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Enix - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. VQuakr (talk) 07:01, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi Jonathon, and thanks for your recent reviews of video game FLCs. When you get the chance, can you cap your resolved concerns at the above FLC, and if posssible, state whether you support, oppose or are neutral toward the list's promotion to FL status? Jonathan, With regards to User:Jonathan Hardin'/Final Fantasy XV, I am wondering your future intentions with the page, its been nearly 8 months in the user space and is becoming a long term stored article (See WP:FAKEARTICLE ). The article cannot be stored indefinetaly. Can you note if the article will be improved in the near future to move into the main space and still address the concerns addressed at the previous deletion discussion? (The current article only has one additional sentance and appears very much like the same article that was deleted earlier). Thanks for your input and thoughts Ottawa4ever (talk) 16:39, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Seiken Densetsu
Hi! I saw you undid my edit on the Seiken Densetsu page. That's fine, the distinction between numbered video games and others is unnecessary in such a short list. What I don't understand are the grammar errors, because I didn't write anything new, just copied and pasted. I mean the note about Secret of Evermore: it's taken from that page, in order to make the reference symmetrical. By the way, please tell me the grammar errors so that I will avoid them in the future.
Wow, you criticized my edit about not just one, but three points! I've never been so bad in Wikipedia before :-D --Abacos (talk) 04:41, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
- Hi! For example each section heading take one capital letter on Wikipedia ("Creation and design" instead of "Creation and Design"). Also sorry if I sound too "to the point"; I'm not that mean :) Jonathan Hardin' (talk) 10:29, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Final Fantasy
There was no reason to reverse the order of Kingdom Hearts / Mana, at least not without stating something on the page. That's why I reverted the edit.Ultimahero (talk) 16:15, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- The Mana series came first (FFA in 1991 vs KH1 in 2002). Jonathan Hardin' (talk) 16:17, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
So?Ultimahero (talk) 16:17, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- So Mana is mentioned first. Also don't revert the whole thing if you only disagree with one modification (I updated the "latest release" line too and you keep reverting that for no reason). Jonathan Hardin' (talk) 16:20, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
That's simply an argument from authority. You have to demonstrate why it should come first, not just state that it does. And I reverted it because you made several edits to several areas with only one given reason. I consider that dishonest.Ultimahero (talk) 16:23, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- Riiight. You just singlehandedly killed WP:AGF. But whatever, I asked the question at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games for more input. Jonathan Hardin' (talk) 16:32, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
It is dishonest. You state one reason for making the edit, when in reality you have made multiple edits that wouldn't all fit under your stated reason. I am not suggesting that you are a liar or that you had bad intentions. I'm simply saying that you are claiming only one edit, but you really have preformed multiple edits. Thus what you stated is not the entire truth.Ultimahero (talk) 16:38, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Upon further reflection, dishonesty implies bad intentions, and I do not think that you had such. So I apologize for my careless terminology.Ultimahero (talk) 16:42, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
3rd Birthday page
Hello. I have no issue with the 3rd Birthday page showing true neutrality in the form of stating solely the numbers. I only change the article to say "mixed reviews" whenever someone tries to claim the game got all or mostly positive reviews, because if we're going to describe a supposed general overview of critical response to the game, "mostly mixed" is more accurate than "mostly positive." Mostly positive implies all about a few reviewers scored it high and had almost no issues with the game when that's not the case. If there is no claim of the game having "mostly positive" reception, I won't edit it to more accurately reflect the truth at present. 99.136.194.159 (talk) 04:44, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
One other person has noted the inappropriateness of having such a major spoiler at the top of the page on this article. I switched back my inital edit because you noted the whole WP:SPOILER thing. That's fine, but I'm not sure if that applies here...it still seems rather odd that you would really want something that crucial to the storyline there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.54.5.133 (talk) 02:08, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Final Fantasy VII
Hello. I noticed your edit on Final Fantasy VII page that you changed Compilation to series. I reverted that back because there is no source stated that, the prequels and sequels of the game as a whole is called that. Even in the special features on Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete they consider it as a Compilation instead of a series. I'm trying to find a reference to the sentences "New minigames were designed to reward players with items and equipment, including a "Coliseum" battle mode based on that of Final Fantasy VII and a casino featuring luck-based games. Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited Fortress (Square Enix), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marlboro (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Possible tabling errors at "List of Enix games"
I recently noticed that none of the dates for the PlayStation games were listed at List of Enix games so I prepared to start entering them in when I discovered that the dates were there, they just weren't displaying. On closer examination it seem sthat in July 2010 you had made a series of edits which had the effect of changing the date format from something like this:
{{dts|link=off|1993|12|18}}
to something like this:
{{#if:1993|{{dts/{{#ifeq:{{#expr:19930*0}}|0|core|hart}}|1993|12|18||debug=|format=|link={{#if:off|off|no}}|nowrap=|Y=y}}|<!-- -->{{dts/core|{{CURRENTYEAR}}|12|18||debug=|format=|link={{#if:off|off|no}}|nowrap=}}<!-- -->}}
I am unfamiliar with the format you've updated it to and I was wondering if you could look it over briefly to make sure it's working the way you intended. If so, you might want to leave a note at the talk page to explain since you left no edit summaries when making those changes and it seems like it could be an error due to the fact that the dates no longer display in the table.
I also noticed that some of the titles appear to have disappeared when you split the combined table into separate tables. "Cosmic Soldier", for example, seems to have been accidentally deleted. Or was this intentional? Again, you may want to check these as well and leave a note explaining why the titles that were removed were removed if those edits were intentional because it is a bit confusing. -Thibbs (talk) 13:40, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

Namespace
Actually, I doubt that User:Jonathan Hardin'/Final Fantasy VIII Ultimania translations belongs in any namespace here. Wikipedia is not a web host. The contents of that page cannot be integrated into any encyclopedic article, their source is unclear, and I would even suspect a copyright violation. You should probably take it somewhere else. Keφr 14:30, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- Could you explain how it cannot be integrated into encyclopedic articles? It is relevant to topics such as Final Fantasy VIII, Music of Final Fantasy VIII, and Characters of Final Fantasy VIII. Their source is stated in the first line, and they are a translation rather than a transcript. Jonathan Hardin' (talk) 14:42, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

The article ResetEra has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Aside from notes detailing that the site is an offshoot of NeoGAF, I don't see how this meets any of the Notibility guidelines such as WP:GNG. At least one of the references isn't valid (coming from their own official twitter account). Either a deletion or a redirect and information to be moved to the NeoGAF article would be more appropriate.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jamesbuc (talk) 10:30, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
