Speedy deletion nomination of Antidote (American band)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Antidote (American band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Welcome!
Hi there, welcome to Wikipedia! I think you should have a read of WP:GFYE. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. By the way, you were totally correct about Chicago Reggae Festival, so I've deleted it. If you want to learn more about deletion processes, they're at WP:CSD, WP:PROD, and WP:AFD. The one I used on that article was a CSD, WP:A7. Thanks for your contributions! -- asilvering (talk) 21:47, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi there! Thank you for letting me know and for your concern (about the user page edit) :) It's nice to know I was right about something lol, I'm always worried I'm incorrect about stuff so I end up spending a bunch of time worrying, lol, thank you again!!! Re: Gareth Jones (journalist)
Most of the constituent republics of the Soviet Union were SSRs—"Soviet Socialist Republics." But Russia was an exception, it was an SFSR—"Soviet Federative Socialist Republic." See Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. A minor (and in practice probably meaningless) distinction, but it is the correct form.
So please revert your revert, thanks.
I appreciate that you reached out to discuss this. ScarletPlanet (talk) 02:29, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oh shoot, sorry haha, I looked at the sources and I only saw SSR mentioned, not SFSR, my bad ^^
- was there a reason for changing eyewitness to eEewitness? Ame ★ (talk) 06:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
