ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

I think AFD was the correct answer
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alu-Oshaeraen Shrine was a correct nomination in my view, PROD? Not so much. I thin you made the correct call. I have explained why in that AfD. As with almost all things here, opinions differ. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:19, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

You keep removing my edit :(
Hi thanks for your graciousness! I’m so curious to know why you insist on keeping this random quote from a random interview. It seems awfully vindictive and petty against Li. There are also several typos. Do you not see it? Thanks! The part that should be removed is below.
In 2024, after the US presidential election, Li described the Kamala Harris campaign as a "$1 billion disaster", stating that Democratic donors where misled by the campaign to believe "that this is an eminently winnable race" 2601:41:4300:9370:F5D7:9266:2426:B6E5 (talk) 05:39, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- The main issue is that your summaries are misleading and generally don't explain the removal, only the caapitalization changes. I do admit that the last time I reverted, I probably should have backed down as you did explain yourself and that was my bad. Gaismagorm (talk) 11:47, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Ok I’m sorry for not being clearer. That’s totally my bad. Are you ok with me restoring the edit and the capitalization changes? The role is in fact Women’s Co-chair believe it or not haha. I’ll make sure to provide a comprehensive edit summary. Happy holidays :) 2601:41:4300:9370:1484:88C8:A0B0:DD51 (talk) 13:04, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

Sorry to be a little late in getting back to you. I decided not to RevDel since no real people were mentioned, nor was any hate speech used. It's rank, but we get that sort of thing a lot.
Of course, another admin might have seen it differently. Daniel Case (talk) 06:04, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

- I'll try to be a little more sparing with revdel requests, cause recently I guess I noticed that I've been making some for edits that in hindsight don't really require revdel! Gaismagorm (talk) 11:14, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

Bubalo P page
Hello, the current content reduces his career to a political trial, waged by the opponents, from which Predrag was cleared and pronounced non guilty. https://www.slobodnaevropa.org/a/bubalo-presuda-luka-beograd/31530411.html Mini011 (talk) 17:20, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- The article already mentions how he was aquitted of all charges. The trial still happened, even if it found him not guilty. Gaismagorm (talk) 17:40, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Janet Street Porter is NOT Jewish!
Hi Gaismagorm - The link to the Guardian article has no mention of the information in the entry.Janet actually grew up in Fulham, London, UK - she often mentions this on UK TV show Loose Women. She had one sister who passed away a few years ago. She never talked about being Jewish, nor having this heritage.
The details given about being of Ashkenazi Jewish heritage and growing up in the US as one of 4 sisters applies to an American woman with a similar name who is cited in the disambiguation note at the top of the Wiki entry about the UK Janet Street Porter.
So I kindly request you amend the information, thank you. 2A02:6B6F:E63D:8700:38DE:DE7C:7ABF:6F1C (talk) 22:58, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- huh? the only edit I made to the page was getting rid of a misogynist comment made by a different unregistered user. I believe you are trying to reach @Edwardx. Hope this helps. Gaismagorm (talk) 00:55, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
