Soul City

I'd be glad to send pictures of Soul City on to you if you'd like. Just use the email link on the left to drop me a line, and I'll pass it your way.

I imagine it looks different from the late 80's. What little there is to see from the highway is still somewhat unkempt, but if you turn off onto Soul City Boulevard (an ambitious name for the street, by the way), you'll first see the new prison annex, and further down the road, a small health center, the church, and a new housing development. There's also a house which is sort of the "town center", if you will, a very small apartment complex, and a senior citizens' building. It's still small, but it's a much brighter looking place. Not quite as depressing as I had heard from past stories. Tijuana Brass (talk) 05:47, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for your comments

Hi, from your contribs, I see that you have made many thoughtful comments on article talk pages. While your comments are helpful, your contributions to the articles themselves would be even more so. May I invite you to be bold? BTW, sources don't have to be available online to be considered verifiable. It is fine to cite books or articles that you find at a library, say. Such sources may even be preferable, because they suggest greater reliability than web sites, having been vetted by a publisher or peer review. --Jtir (talk) 20:40, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alec Baldwin: SNL Appearance with Sarah Palin (Political Views)

When you have time would you take a look at the Alec Baldwin talk page and review a dispute I am having on a contribution? You have contributed to the page in the past two years and I would like you to look over the contribution and give your thoughts on it. Regards, MirelesJ (talk) 05:29, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Fatherland (novel), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Macedonia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bladen, Nebraska opera house

This is a very belated response to a comment you left at Talk:Bladen, Nebraska, asking whether there was an opera house listed on the Nat'l Register of Historic Places, and whether there were photos. Affirmative on both counts: there are three photos at Commons:Category:IOOF Hall and Opera House (Bladen, Nebraska). -- Ammodramus (talk) 01:55, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
