Goose bumps? I can't even remember helping with that; oh well, I guess I must just be helping too many people :-)  Chzz  ►  03:40, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Nice job on 2002 Mecca girls' school fire :-)  Chzz  ►  05:21, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Hi, {{BASEPAGENAME}}. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  03:40, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

re:Compaq image

I saw your picture and I am not offended. It looks a whole lot better than mine. Thanks for the heads-up. Chris (talk) 20:21, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mu-metal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CRT (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I see you are not looking for commentary but in case you don't know, here is what mw:Extension:Scribunto currently does: mw:Extension:Scribunto/Lua reference manual#Module documentation. The corresponding pages here:

I haven't examined your ideas or Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)#Proposal to auto-transclude /doc subpages but if we request MediaWiki changes, I suggest they are made in the same way as Scribunto. It looks flexible enough to permit different implementation details at a wiki, but maybe MediaWiki should permit a choice between displaying documentation above and below templates. Personally I like template documentation on /doc subpages but a system to display it automatically would be nice. PrimeHunter (talk) 00:38, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
