Good catch on that copyvio! Not sure what that article is so prone to BLP mess. DMacks (talk) 17:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio

I declined the speedy deletion request on Pencak Silat because the article isn't 100% copyvio; if the violating parts are removed there would still be some salvageable article left. In fact, the offending content was inserted in 2007 (diff) and even then it wasn't entirely copyvio; the editor seems to have cherry-picked words sentences (or sometimes full paragraphs) from other essays here and there, but also mixed it in with his own [unsourced] writing. In the year and a half since then, much of it has been heavily edited. The best thing to do is probably go through the article and identify, on a case-by-case basis, which parts are plagiarized and which are not, then remove the plagiarized bits outright and leave the rest. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 15:47, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pencak Silat

Hi. Thanks for spotting the copyright violation. For future reference, it might be a better idea for complex copyright violations to put it through the regular review of copyright rather than using a speedy which is meant for obvious blatant infringement. To do this, subst the {{copyvio}} template on the article. Regards. -- Whpq (talk) 13:55, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the hint, whpq. I will do so next time --DavidDCM (talk) 02:49, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.

Perhaps the T-84 Oplot is occasionally shown publicly, but the T-84 Yatagan appears to be a historical artifact now. It was peddled to the Turkish military around 2000, but as far as I know it hasn't been shown publicly, and isn't likely to show up again. And I can't find any evidence that the BTMP-84 has ever been shown publicly, or, frankly, that any have actually been built. Michael Z. 2011-04-03 00:07 z

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Uralmash-1, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Samokhodnaya Ustanovka (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Luftwaffe userbox

Hey, I´m a user who uses you Luftwaffe userbox. Just now I realized that the included link leads to the Luftwaffe of World War II. The symbols and the related userboxes you created emphasized that you meant the contemporary German Air Force; in which I served (not the one from Nazi-Germany). I corrected the link so it leads to the modern Luftwaffe. Just wanted you to know. ... GELongstreet (talk) 22:02, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
