This is another sockpuppet of the banned Koli vandal profile User:2409:40D6:101B:8FD:8000:0:0:0. operated by Premchand Mahaur.
Please follow the proceedings against the caste identity politics pov pushing Koli chauvinist profile here:

This person is in particular is a politically involved author, and runs a low-quality blog https://kolistan.blogspot.com on behalf of Akhil Bharatiya Koli Samaj org of Inida. He was banned in 2019 already (User:Premachandaji and User:Thakor Sumant Sinhji Jhala). He is not even from Deccan / Maharashtra where the Maratha caste exists but a distant state of Haryana. Its quite humorous to be accused of caste pov pushing by an actual caste pov pusher. DeccanFlood (talk) 07:42, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Now that you mention Maharashtra, I was just reviewing a recently-created article on the history of the state (Bhoomi Sena (Maharashtra)). It was created by an IP from the now-banned caste editor range, which definitely sets off some red flags. I’m not too familiar with caste politics so I didn’t see anything at issue beyond the need for copyediting, but could you take a cursory glance and let me know if there’s caste POV hidden in there? Dan 07:53, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well-spotted, Palghar region is indeed inhabited mostly by Kolis. The tract north of modern Mumbai city, to be specific. If I was to speak critically, the article appears highly sympathetic towards cause of 'tribals' and has a protagonist tone for subjects/people mentioned throughout, though Bhoomi Sena was indeed greatly responsible for sanskritization of tribal fishermen Kolis through orthodox rituals [1] and has credit in their integration in mainstream Hindu society, who were regarded as a criminal caste since 1871 at least [2] which surprisingly isn't mentioned at all. But this Prem Mahaur in particular (banned caste-editor range) isn't an actual Koli (authentic ones reside in Gujarat-Maharashtra coasts), and his region did not even bear any implications. DeccanFlood (talk) 08:41, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah yeah figured it was something of the sort but this came in right when I went to log off for the day so I didn't care to look into it. Wonder if they got me confused with the admin involved as we are similar real-name-using editors? Thanks for the update. Dan 07:47, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Trevor

Thanks for moving Trevor the Duck forward into a full article! I'm going to take a look and make some revisions like you noted on my talk page. This looks good - the only thing that stood out to me was "political scientists have described this as a use of geopolitical soft power" which seems a peripheral to the subject, but it brings up the point that we need to explain the tie between Niue and New Zealand, which I'll incorporate.

I'd like to put this into DYK nominations in the next few days - feel free to make the nomination, or I can. Seems to meet the criteria. Would love to have my first joint DYK. Upjav (talk) 18:45, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
