Information icon Hello, I'm MrOllie. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. I did explain why:
"I removed the notions that falsely linked the artform to 'Rob Roy on the Baltic', which is information no founding breakdancer would have come across nor had access to. If you Google Giesse Harad Polska or 'salmon district dance' not only is there no info in relation to breaking but virtually none at all. Also, a black and white picture of a teenage boy doing downwork in Moscow is misleading; breaking started in the Bronx and photos under its history section should reflect that." Information icon Hi ConstantKay! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. I changed it back... It wasn't a minor edit but for some reason it kept reverting back so I checked 'Minor edit' thinking it would make it permanent. As I stated why:

Other people are reverting you. You need to go to the article talk page and make your case there to get support. Edit warring to delete content like this may get you blocked from Wikipedia. MrOllie (talk) 16:47, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm new to Wikipedia - Could you provide me with a link? The information I'm deleting is erroneous in relation to the subject matter and, frankly, distorts the facts. ConstantKay (talk) 16:51, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can read about talk pages at Help:Talk pages. If you have questions about how Wikipedia works WP:TEAHOUSE is a good place to get more help. MrOllie (talk) 16:57, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There's another comment from 2018 saying the same thing but it has yet to be addressed or edited on subject's page... ConstantKay (talk) 17:58, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Breakdancing, you may be blocked from editing. Tommi1986 let's talk! 16:48, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
