I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
tag from Toppling of Bassel al-Assad's statue, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}}
back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! —St.Nerol (talk, contribs) 10:14, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- @St.nerol alright thank you, I haven't edited Wikipedia in a while and forgot how a lot of stuff worked so thank you for notifying me. CR-1-AB (talk) 16:50, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- Sure! The message came from this template; I wouldn't quite have been able to phrase it myself. —St.Nerol (talk, contribs) 17:03, 8 December 2024 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Fakescientist8000. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to Wikipedia:In the news/Candidates. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. You've been warned about your comments there before. Stop. ITN/C is no place for you to be putting comments like those down. Cheers! Fakescientist8000 04:20, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

A page you created has been deleted because it is a biography of a living person that is entirely negative in tone and has unsourced content, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
Do not create articles about living people that are entirely negative in tone and unsourced. Wikipedia has a policy of verifiability and any negative information we use must be reliably sourced, and our articles must be balanced. Negative, unreferenced biographies of living people are not tolerated by Wikipedia and users who create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy may be blocked from editing. Primefac (talk) 18:26, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Unsourced? Negative tone? The article is still a draft! Maybe you should probably talk to me about it instead of deleting stuff. And what "tone" are you talking about? The draft is about a murder! It's obviously gonna be negative. CR-1-AB (talk) 19:11, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Primefac can you explain how a page of a murderer is considered an "attack page"? CR-1-AB (talk) 19:16, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Zero sources about a child murdering someone, which I believe fits the part of WP:G10 where it says
...that is entirely negative in tone and unsourced
. Primefac (talk) 19:56, 11 October 2022 (UTC)- @Primefac I haven't put much sources because I was busy, and procrastinating working on that draft. And also there are a LOT of sources [2] [3] [4][5]. Those are only 4 I listed, there are much more sources. I think instead of just deleting the page outright, someone should have researched and worked on the article (Which is why I posted something about it on WikiProject Crime, and I'll admit, I was too lazy to do that part myself). CR-1-AB (talk) 20:27, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Googling "Claire Miller" on google gives you 75,000,000 results, and it's safe to assume most of them were related to the murderer. CR-1-AB (talk) 20:29, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- It's not safe to assume that, and certainly not safe to assume that all or any of them are reliable. Furthermore, per WP:BLPCRIME, the presumption of innocence applies to anyone who has not been convicted of a crime, and my understanding is that this case hasn't even gone to trial yet. Allowing such material to remain anywhere on Wikipedia, especially about a minor, would be a breach of BLP. Procrastination is not an excuse for allowing BLP-violating material to remain on-wiki. - Ok, I see now. CR-1-AB (talk) 00:52, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

Old user page
You don't have to have a user page, but may I suggest you edit https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:LightningComplexFire to link to this talk page instead? That page (with its dead link) is now displayed at your old user page. – Fayenatic London 11:46, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
