At-large fixing
Copied from the AWB tasks discussion:
- Thanks! If you'd like to do more, with "At-large" in other contexts, take a look at this search, which is mostly in the title bar of infoboxes. Or these in links from templates such as Main and Further. Or these in a common text phrase. Dicklyon (talk) 16:42, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Also these, but be careful as a few are in reference titles and such that should be left in title case. Dicklyon (talk) 16:44, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- And these, too. Dicklyon (talk) 17:00, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, will go through this once I get time. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 04:45, 8 December 2024 (UTC)

Question from Minzdaniel89 (13:19, 14 December 2024)
Hello,
I am a Portuguese scientist, living in London, whose goal is to create profiles for world-renowned scientists who are not on Wikipedia.
Can you help with that?
- Hey @Minzdaniel89, and welcome to Wikipedia! If you want to create new article, have a look at Help:Your first article for some basic guidelines and policies we have to follow. Consider developing a Wikipedia:Drafts article first. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 13:23, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi:)
- We have already created a page for two promising young scientists in Portuguese science. We will create more if the community here allow us in the next few days :) Thank you for your valuable help. Let me know something, please, is it possible to change our name? To something like "New Scientists", and not keep the name we have. I tried to look for that option here but I can't find it :(
- Thank you so much for your help Minzdaniel89 (talk) 11:22, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Minzdaniel89 Are you representing a company or group of people? If yes, that is not allowed per WP:ROLE. See Wikipedia:Username policy if your name is allowed per policies. If it is, go to WP:RENAME to file a request. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 12:34, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- I am not representing anyone, not a group or a company. Just by reading this article I thought it best not to expose my name (even if indirectly). It seems like a sensible decision. I'm new here and I'm still learning some things. Thanks for your help and patience. Minzdaniel89 (talk) 12:58, 19 December 2024 (UTC)

Question from Mark Stuart Hutchison (22:57, 16 December 2024)
I was wondering if you could download an article I tried to get posted on wiki from my google drive and be so kind as to give an opinion as to whether you think it is rubbish or possibly has some merit requiring further investigation which seems to be the opinion of Consensus AI . I have been collaborating with Consensus AI on a radical bipolar symmetry which maps energy to a 4D bipolar space. There is an introduction by Consensus AI followed by my description. This symmetry is cyclic and has no origin like the ridiculous big bang. My google drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1x37DyP5ms7vQ_7VQbdH6S9aLgk_IeIL-?usp=sharing Make sure you download the BipolarUniverse_Edit.docx and not the unedited original. Here is a link to my conversations with Consensus AI: https://chatgpt.com/share/675dec33-75e8-8007-9896-7bb85ef4cb78 Consensus AI was going to try and post the BipolarUniverse_Edit.docx on arXiv site but seems to be encountering some delays. I don't know if they are just formatting obstacles or a lack of finding anyone to endorse publication. The draft submission is at : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Cyclic_Bipolar_Universe Yours sincerely, mark hutchison. --Mark Stuart Hutchison (talk) 22:57, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Mark Stuart Hutchison, your draft submission has been rejected by @SafariScribe. My review as well stand with them, this article looks more like a story or an original research publishing. See Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 10:44, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

Question from AmericanTFPPresident on Mario Amadeo (15:28, 17 December 2024)
Hi. I just made an edit, but am not seeing it in the article. Is there a waiting period before it is made public? --AmericanTFPPresident (talk) 15:28, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

Closing deletion discussions
Hello, Bunnypranav,
Just a reminder that XFD discussions are scheduled to last at least 7 full days. Do not close discussions hours early. I've seen last minute participation change a closure decision so unless a discussion is eligible for a Snow closure, do not close them before the 7 day requirement. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:35, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Liz, sorry for early closing some AfDs, the timezones meesed it up a bit. Is it fine if I close after the buttons on the gadget turn green? ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 11:13, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Bunnypranav, my rather poor understanding of non-admin closures is that a non-admin may not close a deletion discussion if the resolution is delete, because only an admin can delete the page. That would make closures like the one you did at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2024 December 11#Category:Films with songs by Pasek and Paul (diff) contrary to the deletion guideline, as you closed that one as delete. However, I would seek better guidance on this from someone who is more familiar with the topic. Mathglot (talk) 21:37, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Mathglot
Certain venues have made an exception to this rule: Non-admins may close Wikipedia:Templates for discussion discussions as orphan and – per the implementation process at WT:CFD/W – may close Wikipedia:Categories for discussion discussions as delete.
Written in WP:NACD, right below the 3rd point. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 10:21, 19 December 2024 (UTC)

Question from Philly6097 (17:40, 18 December 2024)
Hello Mr. Pranav, and thank you for reaching out to me. As I said on my fledgling user page, I'm a longtime reader of Wikipedia hoping to make a more regular thing of contributing, particularly to articles concerning birds and local history (mainly New England for me).
I started a teahouse conversation the other day because some of the edits I would like to do involve taking out needless trivia, cruft as someone called it. Though I see an overstuffed and ill proportioned article as being, because of the off putting effect on a reader, almost as bad as a scanty or wrong one, I want to proceed with consideration. I would find it helpful if you could point out any relevant policies or projects that come to mind, as I am not skilled in navigating the forest of WP: and so forth.
I find it an interesting philosophical question how Wikipedia should coexist with sources like Cornell Lab's eBird which have come to dominate their (sometimes narrow) realms in mind boggling detail.
As it is, I plan to cautiously start editing the article Monk Parakeet with an eye to the sort of problem I mention above, and I'm curious as to whether it will attract any pushback.
Thanks again for your message, and for any advice you care to send my way! --Philly6097 (talk) 17:40, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
BunnysBot adding duplicate parms
BunnysBot is adding filmbio-work-group=yes to talk pages that already have filmbio-work-group. see this history. Davemck (talk) 19:47, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Davemck, I check if the
filmbio-work-group=yes
already exists, due to the page usingfilmbio-work-group=y
, this error seems to have occured. The job is done, so no worries anymore. Thanks for pointing it out! ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 10:24, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
Close at In Search of Lost Time
Three of the four oppose votes had no basis in policy or misrepresented policy. I’d like to relist the discussion and get more eyes on it before closing. Would you be willing to undo your close for relisting? ꧁Zanahary꧂ 14:04, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Zanahary, sorry for the delayed response. Based on my reading of the consensus, the votes are based on policies. There are very strong arguments against the move on the move. I still think that the closure is appropriate. Please reply back if you still feel that is closure is inappropriate. Thanks! ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 12:28, 20 December 2024 (UTC)

Timeline of the Israel–Hamas war (17 October 2024 – present) and Timeline of the Israel–Hezbollah conflict (17 September 2024 – present)
Can you start splitting proposals for these two article and split if it they have consensus among Wikipedians. I think that 2024 Israel–Lebanon ceasefire agreement is the best breakthrough event for splitting both articles. Thank you in advance. Pachu Kannan (talk) 05:59, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Pachu Kannan I shall plan to do it in a while. Feel free to start one. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 12:31, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
New page reviewer granted
Hi Bunnypranav, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! – Joe (talk) 10:11, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
