Welcome and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Thanks and.... What a start!!!

Great work with Qeparo! I made a co-nomination to wp:DYK, we both get the credit. I think it will easily pass. --Sulmues (talk) 15:09, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Qeparo

You forgot to add that this village is Greek-speaking. Hope you have not problem about it.Alexikoua (talk) 19:05, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Citation needed

I entered a {{cn}} in Qeparo#Language. Can you please reference that since you brought it? In addition can you start the Laberishte dialect article since you mentioned it? --Sulmues (talk) 13:43, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Same for Qeparo#Location. --Sulmues (talk) 13:44, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It would also be extremely nice of you if you could quote Dr. Natasha Sotiri. --Sulmues (talk) 13:48, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for quoting her, and thanks for participating in the discussion at the talk page. Alexikoua is a good wikipedian. Please sign your contributions in the talk pages putting the four tildes "~". --Sulmues (talk) 12:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

Last: I know you might be new here, but you may want to learn you shouldn't edit war when there is an RfC like you did for Markos Botsaris. Please refrain from that and let the RfC get closed first. If that takes 30 days so be it. --Sulmues (talk) 13:48, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:53, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Edits such as this [2] are disruptive. The source clearly says that the village is inhabited by both Greek and Albanians, and your level of English is more than good enough for you to know this. Thus, I can only conclude that you are deliberately mis-quoting the source because you do not like what it says. Falsifying sources in this manner is a serious breach of wikipedia policy, and if you continue I will have no choice but to report you for disruptive behavior. Thank you. Athenean (talk) 18:01, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Qeparo, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Qeparo. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. A tag has been placed on "Solomon Goldstein" requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — ZjarriRrethues — talk 11:25, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Solomon

I bet you that no one has ever heard of Solomon Goldstein, hence it SHOULD go to DYK. I'll work on it tonight, unless you don't want me to. --Sulmues (talk) 13:55, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, no problem. Beserks (talk) 06:47, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The only mention of "Tschekist" I can see is in snippet of a speech by Adolf Ehrt, which labels him as a "well-known Chekist" and comes from what is evidently an anti-Communist tract published in Nazi Germany. Hardly a reliable source... Constantine 11:55, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Hi. This article was tagged for speedy deletion as an attack page. Before deleting it, I spent some time looking for possible confirmation:
but I did not find any; the word "was" suggests that this person is no longer alive, but as I could not confirm that, in view of WP:BLP, since it made unsourced negative statements about someone who might be alive, I thought it safest to delete the page. Feel free to re-create it if you can cite reliable sources to verify what it says. JohnCD (talk) 14:09, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Adespote has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

It's a dictionary definition of an adjective. We don't have an article at Anonymous (only a dab page, which includes link to Anonymous work.)

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PamD (talk) 07:36, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Iljas

A tag has been placed on Iljas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. Request reason:

I have to admit it, you're very astute for being a nerd, Timotheus. I'll devote myself to writing books from now on. Yes, I know, that Latin reference had me killed. I shouldn't have messed with Caesar the fag. Be well. Ave atque vale, as they say. Post scriptum: Moreschi really did set me up by doctoring the history page, by the way. ☺ Beserks (talk) 08:13, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. Favonian (talk) 08:32, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Concerns

I have seen lately that my former abusive accounts are being used by some Greek editors to block on "likely" or "possible" suspicions of sockpuppetry some other unrelated [4] Albanian editors. I know I might have harmed my own cause and I can fully collaborate in proving that Aapbmb is not me. Maybe he is socking some other account, but in no way this user is related to me. I can submitt myself to any test required, I don't kow, maybe chatting on WP talk pages, to prove that he is not me. BWT, I'm not asking to be unblocked. You can keep the "consensus".
