Thank you for your hard work! —Mvolz (talk) 15:58, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. I saw the note on your IP talk page so I put this here instead of there!

@Mvolz: That was nice of you, thank you! – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 02:29, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

NB-DMT

Good to see you back on here, I wondered if that anonymous IP editor was you :-) NBoc-5-MeO-MiPT, NBoc-5-MeO-DALT, 1P-DPT, 1P-5-MeO-DMT and N,O-diacetylpsilocin are also active, though not published afaik. Meodipt (talk) 07:35, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Meo. It's nice to hear from you! Yup... can't keep away from Wiki I guess. Interesting re: those other ones. I saw NB-DMT online and have been wanting to make an article for it for a while but couldn't find any sources on it. Then I realized I'd totally forgotten about Aipsin. Really handy resource. Feel free to email me if you'd like by the way. :-) – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 20:02, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The email address I have for you from 2011 says it is no longer active. Hit me up. Mine hasn't changed. Meodipt (talk) 08:28, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding these compounds with large 4-position substituents, it is interesting to note that while the 2C-x and DOx versions are antagonists, this may not be the case when you add an NBOMe - if the patents are to be believed, both NBOMe-2C-Am and NBOMe-thiobuscaline are agonists at 5-HT2A, even though the parent compounds are antagonists. Not unprecedented, after all RH-34 is basically an NBOMe version of ketanserin (though it is not psychedelic in humans due to dose-limiting off target side effects), but it does make me curious how broadly this applies. There is an old compound of Glennon's which was iirc 4-(3-phenylpropyl)-3,5-dimethoxyamphetamine which he claimed to surprisingly show partial agonist character despite the bulky 4-position substituent, though it acts like an antagonist in practice as the efficacy is so low. But I wonder if the 2C, NBOMe version of that would be a proper agonist. Meodipt (talk) 22:17, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!
