Teahouse
Hi, @Ahri Boy. Thank you for coming forward to help somebody at WP:Teahouse#I want to create an article, but it's already featured in a list. Should I do so?. Please note that the point of the Teahouse is that it is a place where new editors should be made to feel welcome; so please when you answer there:
- Welcome the newcomer
- Give them a more approachable answer than just a link
- Don't use abbreviations like WP:N without explaining them.
Thank you. ColinFine (talk) 22:03, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sometimes, the Teahouse might be confusing with WP:RD. Ahri Boy (talk) 00:02, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Black Myth Wukong cover art.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Black Myth Wukong cover art.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 09:14, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

"Misgendering"
This edit summary is incorrect. As explained at User:Tamzin/Gender, I have no preference in pronoun, and when referred to in mainspace prefer that Wikipedia use the pronouns of the most recent editor of the page in question. @1234qwer1234qwer4 edited the page to comply with that a few weeks ago. The fact that you were confused by it means that it probably merits an {{efn}}, but seeing it called misgendering is rather frustrating when it's literally what I've requested, in something linked both from my userpage and in my signature. And if nothing else, repeating my first name ("Tamzin Hadasa Kelly ... Tamzin") is clunky writing. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 03:38, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Ohh... didn't even know. Ahri Boy (talk) 03:42, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- That's okay, but would you mind self-reverting? If you think an efn is necessary, I've added a recommended efn to User:Tamzin/Gender. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 03:56, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

Taking a break
Over 9 months of editing, it is time that I am stepping down from full time editing. I am deciding to give another wiki a try upon my return. Ahri Boy (talk) 03:44, 13 December 2024 (UTC)

Unsubstantiated accusations of sockpuppetry
Hi, Ahri Boy. Please do not accuse other editors of sockpuppetry without evidence, as you did here. Unsubstantiated accusations are, as an explicit matter of policy, a form of personal attack. There is no exception to that rule just because the editor you are accusing is an IP editor. If you'd looked more closely here, you would have seen that that IP has been editing constructively in projectspace for over a year, and is based in Virginia, whereas Pavanreddy211 is most likely in India.
False accusations of sockpuppetry are a serious thing, and can result in people getting mistakenly blocked or being discouraged from editing constructively. Please be more careful in the future. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 04:52, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- Oh sorry. I didn't even know about that IP. Ahri Boy (talk) 04:58, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- Well, yes, but that's why you shouldn't have been accusing them of something. You're expected to do your own research before making that kind of claim. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 05:07, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
