Shootout
Hey, thanks first of all. ;) Secondly, for me it looks right the way i did and wrong the way you did it. With your edit, the first shooter from ISL was a row below the first one from AUS... Kante4 (talk) 16:43, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- It MAY be because of different resolutions? Just a guess from my side. I never had that issue the last weeks/months with people reverting it or so. Strange it is, indeed. 16:55, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
1985 World Ice Hockey Championships
Can you provide a source for the players that were suspended after the round robin round? I can't find any sources for that, or any mention of a defenseman named Tim Thomas. -Niceguyedc Go Huskies! 02:36, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Standings
I have been following the debate regarding the standings. I have always corrected that in the past as well -- you aren't tied unless you've played the same number of games. I'm not clear on how the standings page is a "rule." That isn't the IIHF rulebook, and it's entirely possible that the IIHF is sloppy or lazy in presenting it. Is there an actual rule that's on point? MrArticleOne (talk) 21:03, 13 May 2013 (UTC) (Added) I think in particular of one year when the IIHF website's write-up of a game result (I forget which one now) indicated that the team had clinched a quarterfinal berth, when in fact they had not. The website is not especially reliable on these details. MrArticleOne (talk) 21:07, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
WC appearances table
Thanks for helping me with this project. As far as your question about the Finals column, I assumed that to mean any gold medal game participation. I understand there were various formats used over the years, so if a clearcut total can't be used the column could probably be removed. Jmj713 (talk) 06:09, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hey I wonder if you were still working on the tables and if they shouldn't be moved to the article? Jmj713 (talk) 14:35, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
- The table for the Top Division should probably be located at Ice Hockey World Championships, as well as the overview table. Seems to be the logical place, since it's an overview article of the entire WC. Jmj713 (talk) 17:25, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
European Championships
Hi Bruce. Wanted to ask your opinion on something. As I'm sure you know, the Ice Hockey European Championships were contested as part of the World Championships/Olympic Games from 1928 to 1991. Do you think they should be added to the European Championships template? I personally think it would be a good idea to include them (or make a separate template for the combined championships, although I'd prefer to keep them all on one). And glancing at some foreign-language Wikipedia's, that is how it is handled on the German, French, and Czech sites, just to name a few. --Hockeyben (talk - contribs) 19:15, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

It is on the site, the scoreboard's still there, but it's been glitched at the moment, as it'll redirect to a blank page. 70.45.75.137 (talk) 18:16, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
- Ah. It hasn't been updated yet as it was still live and the game experiencing a power failure during the match between the Dominican Republic and Paraguay. So my guess it was delayed. 70.45.75.137 (talk) 18:58, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
re: 2014 world cup qualifying uefa group I
Hi. I made that change to make the colors according to 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA) and a discussion on that talkpage about the colors. That this color was not on the group page was something i did not notice but when I look at it know it has been inserted by another user. The fact is that Spain was assured of second-place but not playoff, which is the color that you changed to. QED237 (talk) 09:29, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Best-on-best
Hey, I didn't mean to cause a problem, but I saw articles with it still linked to (redlink) and figured it'd be simple and proper to just make it a re-direct. -- Fifty7 (talk) 04:09, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, nope! I had simply been visiting Canada–United States sports rivalries and noticed it as a redlink there, so figured I'd take action. -- Fifty7 (talk) 13:33, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
Short Track Quotas
I noticed your addition of guaranteed spots in the short track at the Olympics. However, no spot is guaranteed until all qualifications have concluded since there is a maximum of 60 per gender total, so the top 32 (or 36 in 1500) won't necessarily go through. Smartyllama (talk) 21:36, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- Except that it's unlikely that only the minimum in the competitions left will go through, which would result in taking spots away from events that have already been completed. Also, I'm pretty sure it has to be exactly 60 men and exactly 60 women. Smartyllama (talk) 18:08, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- You now have too many athletes from some countries as well as overall. Smartyllama (talk) 16:59, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- I misread the table. The totals for each country are correct. But, for instance, Russia won't qualify three in each event for men's since they can only have five total - it would be the five highest ranked skaters across the three events, with the condition that only three can enter per event. In other words, the numbers of a country for an individual event should add up to the number that country has overall, and they don't. Smartyllama (talk) 19:52, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- Assuming the 2010 qualification is right, I think the 2014 qualification is right so far too. I'd say just double check when all is said and done, but it looks good to me. Smartyllama (talk) 23:37, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Olympic Alpine Skiing
Why did you remove Eritrea from the top table on the Alpine Skiing qualification article, but not from the bottom part? If Eritrea has dropped out of the qualifying spots (and from my understanding of the rules, and looking at the points list, they have not) it should be removed from both parts, and if it is still on track to qualifying for the Olympics (which it looks like it is) it should be readded to the top part. Disambiguation link notification for December 27
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2014 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Andrei Mironov (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Serbia bobsleigh
Check this: http://www.fibt.com/races-results/results/rankings.html?rankname=2 Check rank 44 (=among top 50=qualified). This means there is one 4 men for Serbia (I thaught two 2 men will add up to 4). I guess this explains but again i'm no expert. Can you fix the four man table please? I think it's outdated.
2014
Sorry - I know it isn't *truly* finalized, but based on the tie-breaker formula for a three-way tie, it's essentially set...oh, wait, sorry, only Switzerland is. Russia and Finland's rankings are still dependent on the result. Apologies, I thought it was mathematically decided already. 99.242.68.216 (talk) 19:22, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Freestyle skiing
How should we list the rejected quotas/transfer to the standby for freestyle and the other sports like snowboard? We don't have a table for each event and putting it on the main chart (like I have for now with Canada and aerials [2]) looks messy. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 03:24, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

Update
Hey, of course not and sorry. Livescoring is not a problem with me if done properly but i was just in a hurry and saw that mistake. And i think livescoring on a lower division tournament is not needed but like i said, there is no problem with me IF doing so. Kante4 (talk) 16:49, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- No they are useful and correct. I added the referees btw. A summary is missing but we can link to the gameaction link like you did. I planeed to do that later tonight but saw that you started. I can finish it now/later. Depends if you want to continue? Kante4 (talk) 16:56, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- Ok. But let's just add it like it is published by the IIHF, not our fault then. Kante4 (talk) 17:01, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- If you want you can add them, else i can do it. No worries about the "correct names". Kante4 (talk) 17:08, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

IHWC 2014,15
I`ve found scenario with Canada relegating. Czech Republic cannot relegate, so IF CAN finish with 10 points in three way tie with Denmark and Italy, it is still possible to relegate from 7th place and 14th place overall. --CZMajkl (talk) 21:09, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
