A tag has been placed on Monument Valley 2, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Greg Pence

One piece in the NYT and one in Roll Call is hardly "significant coverage". Especially since it is not over time, but only in the context of a political campaign that he has not won (because it hasn't happened yet). I created that as a redirect because that's the appropriate way to handle this. I do not want to take this to AfD but I will if you don't self-revert it back into a redirect. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:45, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Significant coverage" refers to the depth of coverage, not the number of articles. Those two long profiles certainly establish notability. Even having said that, a quick peek at Google News shows that there's a good deal of coverage about Greg Pence – and not just mere mentions. Moreover, per WP:NTEMP: "once a topic has been the subject of significant coverage in accordance with the general notability guideline, it does not need to have ongoing coverage." So it does not matter that he hasn't received coverage "over time." I believe that the article currently satisfies notability guidelines and should be improved rather than deleted. If you still have concerns, you should bring the article to AfD. -- Wikipedical (talk) 16:03, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Page mover granted

Hello, Wikipedical. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, and move subpages when moving the parent page(s).

Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Primefac (talk) 01:40, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Corporate (TV series)

I've restored yet again the perfectly valid prodcodes per the cc.com site. If you want to remove prodcodes go take a look and the completely unreferenced and incorrect ones at List of Teachers (2016 TV series) episodes. Also that article is completely not keeping with the standard practice of leaving ratings below millions unrounded. 119.224.3.221 (talk) 22:58, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I saw you moved List of Super Bowl champions back in 2012 (and immediately reverted yourself). Your edit summary: "Not just winners, a list of games" makes a lot of sense. I've been thinking about it and the page probably should be moved to List of Super Bowls as the list is very much about more than just the champions; it includes information about Super Bowl participants, stadiums, cities, attendance, etc.. Before I open a move request on the talk page I figured I would ask you if you had any specific rationale for moving it back that I should take into consideration?

Thanks, - PaulT/C 19:19, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Re: List of Super Bowls

Originally posted to my talk page. Moved here to keep the discussion all in one place. I hope you don't mind.

Hey there. I believed (and believe) the name should be moved – because the lists describe much more than just the winners/'champions' – but as I recall I noticed there are many, many other similar pages like List of NBA champions, List of Stanley Cup champions, List of Wimbledon gentlemen's singles champions, etc. So a much larger naming conventions discussion should be initiated instead of a single page move. -- Wikipedical (talk) 16:20, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure that a huge discussion beyond something at the talk page of the article is necessary. Just because those other pages exist doesn't mean that they necessarily dictate anything an the Super Bowl page. Unless, is there specific MOS guidance on the topic? I'm not aware of anything that might be relevant. - PaulT/C 03:59, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know of any MOS discussion, but noticing that consistency exists with other articles was my rationale for moving it back. -- Wikipedical (talk) 17:43, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The WDSMP note

For the WDSMP note, it will only be included on the bottom of the page, it will not disrupt from the labeled distributor of the film by 20CF or whoever else, please try to come to some compromise that will allow the mention WDSMP note on the page. The case for 20CF is different from that of Universal or WB, as their owners don’t operate film divisions, for Disney, they have a distribution system that can easily be listed as a small note in the notes section and still allow 20CF to be listed in the primary section. 184.54.163.113 (talk) 03:32, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ressurection Of The Christ

I agree with your OP statement about my comment about it possibly being filmed already. But I would just tell you the film is listed on the Industry standard website IMDB PRO(a valid professional source) as specifically in Pre-production(preparing for filming) with an official Teaser Poster(uploaded just 3 days ago) and logo supplied by the production company. Meaning that it is not in "development hell"(as that is listed on site as "in development") but has in fact been greenlit and is an active film production looking to begin filming with a projected April(/Easter) 2021 release date and an estimated(from the Script) runtime of 167mins.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5795232/

So it is indeed an active film project, and not stuck in development. It's mainly slightly too early(like 6 months really) for a film page just yet. I hope you don't take it the wrong way, just telling you the film is indeed a real legit production with an official projected release date.Colliric (talk) 07:32, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • User:Colliric, Imdb is generally not considered a reliable source but is used as an external link. Moreover, a film's listing supplied by its own production company is not independent of the subject. Notability is recognized by significant coverage in independent reliable sources. Plus, as WP:NFF notes, "Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles." -- Wikipedical (talk) 19:18, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2020 in television moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, 2020 in television, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, thank you for your message. I agree that some shows might benefit from such a column if the episode is mostly centered around them, but Euphoria only uses prologues to explore a particular character's past and these only last a few minutes, so I'm still not convinced this is a beneficial contribution to the article. We could open a discussion on the talk page, though, and see what other contributors think. I would personally remove the featured character from the bottom note section as well, because it's already blatantly obvious from the first sentence of the summary. --TheVampire (talk) 13:34, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Wikipedical,

I was looking over some articles you PROD'd and noticed that you didn't post notifications of the deletion tagging on the article creator's talk page. Please do so in the future. Most editors and admins do this by making use of Twinkle to tag articles for all types of deletion. Once you set up your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator", then Twinkle will post these notices on your behalf which makes things easy. Thanks! Liz Read! Correcting bad page moves

Hello, Wikipedical,

Regarding Cải lương, if you are fixing a bad page move, you often want to leave a redirect behind, not because it makes for a good redirect but because by not leaving a redirect, you create a lot of broken redirects as you can see here. Unfortunately, Wikipedia bots are very swift and when an editor or vandal moves an article to a bad title, all of the existing redirects to that article are changed to point to the new, bad title. If you leave a redirect behind when you move it back to the correct name, then the bots can fix all of these double redirects to point to the correct target again. When you don't leave a redirect behind, then any existing redirects show up on our broken redirect lists. So, I have created a temporary redirect from the bad title to Cải lương. We can always tag this redirect later for speedy deletion once the double redirects are corrected.

The best way to avoid this happening is to check "What links here" before moving an article. If there are a lot of redirects to the page, then leave a redirect behind or you can choose to manually fix all of the redirects yourself. If there are no redirects to the article, then you needn't leave a redirect behind when you are correcting for a bad page move. Thank you for all of your work on the project! Liz Read! In the Know

Where is my hatnote? You didn't merely move it. You deleted it.

If you don't reverse this action, I will create a disambiguation page, whether it is desirable or not.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 16:45, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The previous hatnote no longer applies at In the News because In the Know no longer redirects there. Instead, I added a hatnote to In the Know. And your latter comment seems a little aggressive, remaining civil would be appreciated, thanks. -- Wikipedical (talk) 17:35, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In The Know did still redirect there, so I didn't realize what was taking place. But you didn't make clear where you moved the hatnote to, so I didn't consider that. Sorry.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 21:19, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Evil (TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paramount. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:57, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

NoBull moves

Hi! Do you mind reverting the move to NOBULL? Not only was an RM just open earlier today, but it's been moved before and been contested at WP:RMT (permalink). I would undo it, but I thought I'd ask first to avoid move warring. Thanks! Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 15:28, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article List of Arrested Development cast members has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Redundant to and WP:FORK of List of Arrested Development characters

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --woodensuperman 14:49, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
