All About Me

I'm a code monkey living in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I was born in Yankton and spent the first 18 years of my life on a farm equidistant from Avon and Springfield. After graduating high school, I attended college at SDSU in Brookings. While there, I majored in computer science, eventually getting my B.S.. During my summers I try to spend as much time as possible in the Black Hills.

Computers

Even though I grew up on a farm, I was always surrounded by computers and electronics. My dad worked on the electronics of C-5 Galaxys for the Air Force during Vietnam, he's always been something of a hobbyist. I started building my own computers in high school and have continued to do so ever since. I picked up my first C++ book sometime during Junior High.
