I'm a librarian and researcher with interests in Russian and Polish language, literature, culture, and history. I am also a big believer in open access and in the humanities being better represented in digital scholarship. I'm an alumna of the first iteration of the P2PU School of Open Course on "Writing Wikipedia Article: The Basics and Beyond." I participated in the UCLA Library's Edit-a-thon Open Access Digital Collections Meetup - the focus of the meetup was to add external links to the UCLA Digital Library's open and freely available digitized resources, and I am continuing to add external links to resources made available by the Digital Library. Other Wikipedia events I've participated in: Unforgetting LA 11 at The Hammer Museum,Unforgetting LA 8 at the Getty Research Institute, Train the Trainer Wikipedia Editing Workshop, Ms. Fembot Edit-a-Thon, Art+Feminism Edit-a-Thon at LACMA (2015) and (2016), and a Teaching With Wikipedia workshop led by LiAnna Davis from the Wiki Education Foundation (31 March 2015 at UCLA).

I wrote my Master's thesis on Alexander Grin, my Ph.D. dissertation on Petrograd's House of Arts and have fairly extensive expertise in Russian literature of the 1910's and 1920's. My secondary area of expertise is contemporary Polish literature. I also worked for UCLA at the University of California, Los Angeles Library and currently work for Stanford University at the Stanford University Library.
