The names of the Americans held as hostages in Gaza[1]
- Edan Alexander: Kidnapped while on patrol at a kibbutz near the Gaza border
- Itay Chen: (May his memory be for a blessing) He was killed by Hamas terrorists on October 7, at the age of 19, and his body is still being held in Gaza.

- Hersh Goldberg-Polin:(May his memory be for a blessing) He was 23 years old when he was kidnapped from the Nova music festival, where his left arm was blown off by one of several hand grenades thrown into a bomb shelter, killing many young music festival attendees. His last texts to his parents were "I love you" and "I'm sorry." He was murdered along with 5 other captives by Hamas terrorists shortly before his body and the 5 others were recovered by the Israel Defense Forces on September 1, 2024. They were held captive for almost 11 months.[2]

- Judith Weinstein Haggai: (May her memory be for a blessing) At the age of 70 she was murdered by Hamas terrorists in a field near her home on Kibbutz Nir Oz. Her body, along with her husband's, is still being held in Gaza.
- Omer Neutra: At the age of 21, he was removed from his tank as he was protecting innocent civilians from Hamas terrorists who were invading his country. He was last seen on 7 October 2023 lying injured next to his tank.[3] On 2 December 2024, the IDF announced that a committee of experts, based on evidence, concluded that he had been killed on 7 October and his body taken hostage to Gaza. He was born and raised in the United States, and was an American citizen and volunteered to serve in the IDF as a lone soldier.[4] (May his memory be for a blessing.)
- Keith Siegel: At the age of 64, he and his wife were taken hostage. His wife Aviva was released on November 26, but he is still held in Gaza.
