The Wikipedian formerly known as Benedict the Moor.

My namesake saint is discussed here.

Fair warning: I have a belly-button. I assume you do too.

I am not an administrator, nor do I have any other official role or authority on Wikipedia.

You may want to see my talk page, or my contributions history.

Here are my logs, block log, and contribution count;
subpages of my user page, if any exist;
subpages of my talk page, if any exist.
If my username titles any RFA, RFB, RFARB, RFC/USER, checkuser, or suspected-sockpuppet pages, they'll be blue links.

Factoid: There are 48,465,720 users on Wikipedia, and only 848 administrators; that's about 57,153 users per admin, or 0.02 admins per 1,000 users.   Now, admins aren't police, and most user accounts aren't active, so these stats aren't strictly comparable, but the average ratio in USA cities is 2.3 police officers per 1,000 residents.   So isn't it nice that there's always an admin around when you need one?

If this user ever started using userboxes, there would be no end to them, and Wikipedia's servers would crash.
Therefore, as a public service,
there will be no userboxes here!
... OOPS ! ...

Treasury of kind words

The da Vinci Barnstar
For not only adding the requested features to Template:Renameuser and Template:Usurp but giving them a bit of spring clean as well! And in general recognition of all your hard work with Wikipedia's templates... WjBscribe 06:39, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
The All Seeing Eye
A monumental work such as Wikipedia can only be constructed under "The All Seeing Eye." The Eye symbolizes all editors who watch for and defend: Neutrality, Truth, and Fairness. Your struggle to create a Wikipedia free of bias and censorship, makes you the worthy recipient of the "All Seeing Eye." ~ Rameses 05:52, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
I award you this barnstar for helping to make user templates far more friendly and your work on WP:RFCN to fight for the newbies. RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 01:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
