Nomination Criteria

G1

Patent nonsense. Pages consisting purely of incoherent text or gibberish with no meaningful content or history. This does not include poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, vandalism, fictional material, material not in English, poorly translated material, implausible theories, or hoaxes; some of these, however, may be deleted as vandalism in blatant cases.

PATENT NONSENSE is defined as:

Total nonsense, i.e., text or random characters that have no assignable meaning at all. This includes sequences such as "sdfgdsfkgdshgdkhgdsklhsklgroflmaolololol;;;'dsfgdfg", in which keys of the keyboard have been pressed with no regard for what is typed. Content that, while apparently meaningful after a fashion, is so completely and irredeemably confused that no reasonable person can be expected to make any sense of it whatsoever.

  • This would need to be PRODDED - it does not meet the speedy criteria
  • Never heard of Ultraman, though.
  • but I have no idea who Ultraman is :(
  • sigh - another piece of fan cruft - merge or redirect
  • fictional characters are not subject to A7, PROD
  • Getting the point here...G1 is overused!! Fritzpoll.
  • G1 is obviously wrong. Should be merged with Ultraman or kept.
  • Should be redirected to Ultraman Leo. G1 is extremely wrong.
  • Ultraman wasn't my hero, because I've never heard of it before... Redirect to main article
  • not notable, but probably not speedyable
  • seriously, this could use some WP:FICTION but that's it. None of the CSD apply here.
  • Not nonsense, should be PRODded
  • Should've been redirected to parent fictional work/character list.
  • Has meaningful content. Either redirect to "Ultraman Leo" or propose merge, depending on importance of character.
  • Well, I disagree with the speedy, but I detested Ultraman as a kid. :)
  • apart from not being my hero! tag for notability
  • This is another in this survery in which context would inform greatly and sway the decision. Does ultraman actually exist in Google? Has the user vandalized articles? etc.

Balloonman's analysis

Again, I wonder what the deleting admin was thinking to use G1 as their criteria. The article clearly makes sense. It is obvious that the admin did no research before deleting it or they would have discovered that Ultraman is a real character as are the others listed in the article.

There isn't much here, but CSD is not the appropriate course of action. PROD it, MERGE it, AFD it... there are a number of options available, but CSD is not one of them.
