Joe Biden, former vice-president of the United States, has a history of speech and actions that have been viewed as racist or racially charged.

In the 1970's Biden was an "anti-bussing crusader", who admitted that “No issue has consumed more of my time and energies.”[1]. In 1975 he joined Jesse Helms, a segregationist senator to create an anti-busing amendment to that year’s education spending bill.[2]

In the 1990s, crime bill

In May 2020, Biden said in an interview that African Americans "ain't black" if they vote for President Donald Trump over him.[3]
