Critical reception

Behindwoods wrote "Though the concept is interesting, the lack of depth in the story and the ambiguous screenplay plays spoilsport. Director K Paneerselvam’s inexperience is revealed when many scenes end abruptly."[4] Indiaglitz wrote "Paneerselvam needs to be commended for thinking out-of-the-box. Unfortunately the execution goes haywire. The second half is too lengthy."[5] Malini Mannath of Chennai Online wrote, "The debutant director should be commended for trying out a new concept. But the second half could have been trimmed".[6] Priya of Kalki wrote it is inevitable that the audience will get bored even if they try to make the characters interesting, and the film falters due to the lack of plot weight and heavy characters. Climax can be guessed. The film's weakness is the lack of compelling scenes.[7]
