The Horn (Sinhala: ද හෝන්) is a 2020 Sri Lankan Sinhala sci-fi horror film directed by Sameera Wakwella and produced by Deepika Kaluarachchi for ZOOM Film Productions.[3] It stars newcomers Kalhara Wakwella and Teena Shanel in lead role with Roshan Pilapitiya, Dhananjaya Siriwardena and Christine Gunawardena made supportive roles.[4][5]

Along with the film screening, the book titled with same name was launched on 20 February 2020 at the National Library and Documentation Services auditorium.[6]

Production

The film marked second cinema direction by Sameera Wakwella, where he previously directed the 2016 horror film Zoom. He also contributed with screenplay, editing, sound administration, color combination and sound mixing. Cinematography done by Chanaka Senadheera and feature writing by Asanka Manori. Chamika Dematapaksa handled special visual effects and Isuru Tharindu handled art direction assisted by Lakmal Sudesh and Kumar D. Rahubandha. Music composed by Niroshan Dissanayake.[3][4][5]

Assistant director and hair stylist is Chathurika Sandamali and still photographer is Hashan Pannila. Camera support crew is Jagath Susantha, Thisara Damith and Gamini Fernando. Composition assistance given by Hasantha Ranaweera and Madhusankha Dissanayake. Producer Deepika Kaluarachchi also handled costume design and production management. Hasantha Wickramarachchi and Heshani Ridma Thilakaratne made English subtitles.[4]
