Tane Edmed (born 16 August 2000)[1][2] is an Australian rugby union player who plays for the Waratahs in Super Rugby. His playing position is fly-half. He was named in the Waratahs squad for the 2021 Super Rugby AU season.[3][4] He previously represented the Sydney in the 2019 National Rugby Championship.[5]
After missing out on selection for Australia in 2024, Edmed spent one season with North Harbour in New Zealand. Scoring 137 points from all ten of North Harbour's matches in the 2024 Bunnings NPC season, Edmed was subsequently called up to the Wallabies. Edmed's test debut was 30th November 2024, in a narrow 19-22 loss against Ireland.
