What's the difference between Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales since December 2014? The way the lede is worded it seems to imply they're the same. DA1 (talk) 13:48, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

They were the same...until 2014. That's when the Billboard 200 started factoring in streaming to their figures. This chart represents actual sales. Yeah, it's the same case with Country Airplay (created in 2012, but its statistics cover data from 1990). ARIA also recognized Kent Music Report data since 1983 as part of their chart history, although the official ARIA chart actually began in 1988.
