Talk:Sextasy

Need to take off the anti-drug feel of the article.--DragonFly31 07:08, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

" Tactile sensations are enhanced for some users, making general physical contact with others more pleasurable; but, contrary to popular mythology it generally does not have aphrodisiac effects" from ectasy article contradicted on this article by " Ecstasy is a drug used to stimulate your senses making touching more pleasurable and in turn make sex more enjoyable and vivid"

"Using MDMA alone poses a potential threat to physical health and changes the user's perception of reality. Effects last four to six hours and may include confusion, euphoria, anxiety, insomnia, or paranoia. Physical effects include muscle tension, jaw clenching, nausea, nystagmus (eye wiggling), tremors, increased heart rate, and chills. Due to increases in heart rate and blood pressure, a user's body temperature may effectively rise and lead to dehydration, hyperthermia, and possible seizures. This effect on body temperature is more likely to occur in a situation where the user is engaged in intense physical activity, however, Hyperthermia may cause vital organs to fail, resulting in death. Its positive effects, which are valued by users of the drug include euphoria, heightened senses, reduced inhibition, and feelings of empathy."

That's pretty anti-drug. The entire paragraph, but for one sentence is scaremongering. Plus the article is poorly written.

i came up with a proper name Co-methylenafil

Merger Proposal

I think this page is utter crap and should be delete/merged. This article is better suited for garbage like this. I find this article to be more symbolic of underground club culture and isn't anywhere near the notoriety of something like a Speedball (cocaine and heroine). In addition, this page contains no information that can't be found on Ecstacy or Viagra and therefore provides no encylcopedic content. Therefore, a strong merge. smooth0707 (talk) 04:05, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
