• This is my first DYK review so let me know if I made a mistake. QPQ has been done. Article long enough (5032 characters), images licensed correctly, Earwig null results, article is well-referenced and presentable. Hook is verified and cited to a reliable primary source. However, I do not think the hook is interesting. Why should regular reader care that a video game is inspired by another board game? Ca ^{talk to me!} 02:25, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks, the reason I chose this hook is because there's a large gap in between the board game and the video game. I thought it was interesting to show the board game's legacy. I can suggest other hooks which refer to chariot racing, like the forty-three hippodromes and circuses, but I felt that less interesting because they are all just presented from a top down view. - hahnchen 15:22, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

      • I think that it being a turn-based tactical racing game is interesting, it is certainly rare for a video game. Alt hooks suggested below, but I still prefer the original

• I think the original hook is the most interesting due to the contrast of game years. But the alternative hooks are also good. Maybe more emphasis could be placed on the contrast between mobile game vs board game? Moondragon21 (talk) 15:13, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
