Prison Break (miniseries) → Prison Break (season 5) – Firstly I do no know where the miniseries name actually came from since I have never seen it used much outside of WP. Besides for that the official trailers on youtube.com/PrisonBreak all are calling it season 5. Additionally most RS are calling it season 5 as well, see [1], [2] and [3] as samples. - @Galatz: You don't get it. TV releases are only available to the press. If you didn't have futoncritic or the ISAN db you really would have no public refs except for limited tvguide info. Also futoncritic just do scheduling release dumps which half the time contain errors the official press sites don't have. Also the logic on only having refs before airdate goes against WP:V anyway. WP:SOURCEACCESS is exactly for this situation. As logon only URLs, that's all you can get, which is why they weren't included originally. 119.224.39.131 (talk) 22:43, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
- Unfortunately due to the consensus, which WP runs on, you are in the minority of opinion. Therefore it should not be added. - GalatzTalk 00:17, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Galatz: It is unfortunate that reason and logic can't prevail over a few rigid rule following bureaucrates. it's also the reason a number of things never get fixed on this site such as the dark header colors used on these lists. Have fun if you want to print out the limited list of eps here. 119.224.39.131 (talk) 00:53, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
Season 5 vs Resurrection
Although they are calling the season Prison Break: Resurrection , it still very clearly is the 5th season. If you check the shows twitter account, @PBWritersRoom, they are still calling it the new season, they are not calling it a separate series. If you look at the move request above to move it to the season 5 page, you can see from the trailers its very clearly called a new season. Therefore I feel its appropriate to use WP norm and call the page "Prison Break (season 5)" but state the name of the season, as the page currently does. - GalatzTalk 20:13, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- If the season is called Resurrection, then that should be the name of the article. It's the same situtation as 24: Live Another Day or Heroes Reborn. However, the article should stay as Prison Break (season 5) until a consensus is reached because the constant edit warring, recreating the article under a new name, creating/reserving redirects, etc. is beyond disruptive and caused havoc across multiple articles. - Thanks for the examples. I was trying to find another example of a show that named a season before I posted my comment but couldn't find one. - GalatzTalk 20:25, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- This is exactly like 24: Live Another Day, so it should be Prison Break: Resurrection. But I would wait until the event series begins before making any changes to see how the producers and FOX refer to the it as. Brojam (talk) 01:09, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
