Name

@Surtsicna: It seems to have been named after an "Edward Forster", see [1]. (I was curious because it seemed old enough to be connected to Johann Reinhold Forster or Georg Forster, who have many taxa named in their honour, but most of them are "forsteri". See also my current FAC Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Johann Reinhold Forster/archive1). —Kusma (talk) 09:34, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I will include it in the article. Thanks! Surtsicna (talk) 17:20, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Is it Edward Forster the Younger? —Kusma (talk) 17:31, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes! The Etymological Dictionary of Succulent Plant Names confirms it. Surtsicna (talk) 19:13, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
