Talk:Killing of Wong Chik Yeok

Remove Picture

The story reported is cited from media news articles with supposed facts that do not cover the entire truth. To be fair to the deceased and to your readers, do delete the pictures of the deceased. Janessian (talk) 02:30, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Until you can provide a good reason delete them, the images will stay. Insanityclown1 (talk) 04:01, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Offensive content

These are crime reports of extreme sensitive nature which have caused grievous hurt to the families of the deceased. Certain content and pictures are very offending if exposed on a global platform. Do remove such content and refrain from reporting them without due diligence of verification or advisory from the local police force. Consent has also not been sought from the local court to reproduce content of sensitive nature and of plagiarism as well. Janessian (talk) 02:36, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think you should be aware that Wikipedia is not censored, so that is not ground for removing text or images from the article. If the information is verifiable and supported by reliable sources then it is perfectly good to include. So long as material in this article is properly cited, and no copyrighted text has by copied verbatim, there is no issue of plagiarism. TornadoLGS (talk) 02:44, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
How do you define reliable sources? The editors have not done their due diligence to ensure that their sources are indeed reporting the entire truth. I am not here to discuss Wikipedia. I am here to discuss the intentions of these crime editors. Wikipedia original intentions are good, to have a community pedia. But this type of crime reporting is of highly sensitive nature. It should be dealt with due diligence and not merely copy and pasting from various news articles which might not even be covering the entire truth. Some of the content is wrong. If the information is wrong then you should provide reliable, verifiable sources that give the correct information. See also Wikipedia:Verifiability, not truth. TornadoLGS (talk) 03:57, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You keep asserting plagiarism, but provide no diffs to show specific passages you believe are lifted in violation of copyright and from where. You keep asserting incorrect content, yet provide no diffs with citations from reliable sources demonstrating that specific contect is disputed or incorrect.
