Requested move 26 February 2025
– Martin's output as Me One doesn't appear particularly notable; he is best known as "MC Eric" of Technotronic. Recent sources cited in the article simply use "Eric Martin", which appears to be the current WP:COMMONNAME. There is also ambiguity with the Mr. Big singer, which can be addressed at the same time. Retarget Eric Martin (musician) and Eric Martin (singer) to the dabpage. 162 etc. (talk) 23:29, 26 February 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. Jeffrey34555 (talk) 03:28, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- Support first page move only Regarding the second page move, i believe, the American singer is a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. So instead of moving to Eric Martin (American singer), i suggest move the American singer article to Eric Martin and move an DAB page as Eric Martin (disambiguation). We then could create a redirect to Eric Martin (American singer) in place. 103.111.102.118 (talk) 04:42, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- Do you have any evidence to offer as to why the American singer has more long-term notability than all the other Eric Martins? 162 etc. (talk) 05:15, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
- From here [1], an American singer has more than 727k pageviews in the last six years (2019-2025), far above Welsh singer with similar original name as "Eric Martin" (135k). --103.111.102.118 (talk) 03:29, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
- Support both moves per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 14:24, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
