The result of the move request was: moved. Consensus is clear that this move should happen, so I am closing the RM. However, I cannot move Luke Murray (basketball) here as part of this close due to WP:NOTOTHERPAGES. Per that guideline, I will open a new RM at Talk:Luke Murray (basketball) to discuss that move. Luke Murray → Luke Murray (cricketer) – Proposing to move this page to make room for a disambiguation page, given that this cricketer is likely not the primary topic at this point. I don't know if Luke Murray (basketball) being the primary topic would be too much recentism. Michaelwallace22 (talk) 01:46, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Support. Luke Murray (basketball) is the overwhelming WP:primary topic, by a factor greater than 600:1. - Station1 (talk) 04:53, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Support and create dabpage at basename. No primary topic by long-term significance. Assistant coaches of college basketball teams may be big in America, but nobody elsewhere cares about them. He only gets recognition because of who his father is. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:42, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- Support the basketball as primary topic. There are only two Luke Murrays and the cricketer's article is woefully lacking, no need for a dab page here. Traumnovelle (talk) 05:34, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
- Support Luke Murray (basketball) as primary topic. It's not clear why the cricketer has an article at all. The basketball coach is known because of his role on the team which won the national championship twice in a row. Adumbrativus (talk) 05:50, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
