Does "Episodes" section need its own article?
"List of Jane the Virgin episodes" article. Or it's not necessary yet? AdamDeanHall (talk) 16:54, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
- It's too early since we have nothing to go on with season other than its undecided premier (Fall 2015). Once there is content for the release date and episode info from The Futon Critic or other reliable sources, it should be added then. Callmemirela (Talk) 18:30, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
DVR-rating / viewers
Is there any point to having DVR columns in the rating table with most of the information missing/unavailable?âDark Cocoa Frosting (talk) 00:09, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
Jenna Ortega
I'm curious about something. With this young actress now in her own series on Disney Channel called Stuck in the Middle, I've come across articles about her portraying the younger Jane, like [1] and [2], yet I see no mention of her at all in this article or the episode list article. Does she have any kind of credit (guest star, co-star, etc.) in the episode(s) she is in? MPFitz1968 (talk) 08:07, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- I swear to God that there was a mention of her in the cast list at one point. I guess someone removed her. I'll re-add her. As for the episode list, she is only used in flashbacks. Most of which are irrelevant to the episode. Callmemirela đ {Talk} â 15:21, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Mention about another actress portraying a young Jane, Alison Fernandez, came with this IP edit. Several actresses have portrayed Jane either in her pre-teen or teenage years, but I'm citing any other actress names inserted besides Ortega as WP:IINFO, plus a lack of notability of any of the other actresses. Ortega is the most notable of the young Jane portrayers per the sources that have been written about herâclearly mentioned in these sources, though from the perspective of landing roles on Disney Channel's shows Stuck in the Middle and Elena of Avalor. That level of mention in the sources, like the two I cite above from my post eight months ago, warrants inclusion of some nature in this article, though I don't know whether the way it's presented right now is ideal. WP:SPLIT of Accolades section to "List of awards and nominations received by..." article was attempted
Rudeby88 attempted a split of said section of this article without providing the proper attribution required in the edit summary per WP:CWW, or discussion about the split here. So I'm adding a talk page discussion about whether a WP:SPLIT of this section should occur. I turned the receiving article, List of awards and nominations received by Jane the Virgin, into a redirect until it has been deemed okay for the split to occur. MPFitz1968 (talk) 05:30, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
- By looking at how many awards/nominations are already listed in the Accolades section, I'd have no problem with a split. MPFitz1968 (talk) 05:51, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
- If split out, I would strongly advise that the references for those be put into their own column, like List of accolades received by Miami Vice, etc. --IJBall (contribs ⢠talk) 15:11, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
"Other versions" section
How much of this section appears valid (version as of this post)? There is plenty in there that isn't English, and then it looks like some vandalism as well, but am not sure with the mix of languages. MPFitz1968 (talk) 09:27, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
- I decided to remove the section, as there are no sources backing any of it up. Please discuss which of this content should be retained, and any that are retained must be sourced. MPFitz1968 (talk) 15:02, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
Repeatedly placed in category "Television series about teenagers"
This has happened a number of times now, with IPs inserting this category, but I don't agree with it. None of the characters are in their teens, flashbacks aside, so I think it is a non-defining category for this series. Any thoughts? MPFitz1968 (talk) 23:08, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
