I am not sure about the title of the collection. RS cited uses the title Humoresque and Other Stories, but Worldcat has an entry for such a collection only post war, and instead suggests the title of the first collection might have been Humoresque: A Laugh on Life with a Tear Behind It. Not sure if this is also the title of the original short story (did it have a subtitle?). Someone should dig more Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here04:46, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
