Proposed merge of Spring Village, Shropshire into Horsehay

There is no indication that Spring Village is notable enough for its own article, but it is named in the conservation area along with Horsehay. Note that the parish council website at https://www.dawley-hamlets.org/ does not mention Spring Village when listing the communities in the parish, and it is not listed in List of United Kingdom locations: Sow-Stao#Sp although it is named on OS mapping. Initially thought Spring Village was a modern name, but according to this source, though not on maps, it does appear in VCH, noted as a group of miners' cottages in 1840.[1] Rupples (talk) 02:02, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But is a group of cottages notable enough for its own article? I suggest not. PamD 09:01, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The article in VCH on Lawley says "There were many miners' cottages by 1840 on the margins of Lawley common, the southern part of which was called Horsehay common. (fn. 28) The largest groups were near Lawley Bank and at Spring Village.", and there's also "The township was in Wellington civil parish until 1894, Wellington poor-law union 1836- 1930, Wrekin highway district 1865-82, and Wellington rural sanitary district 1872-94. In 1894 the township became part of Wellington Rural C.P. and Wellington rural district. (fn. 7) Much of the southern part, including Horsehay common and Spring Village, was taken into Dawley C.P. and urban district in 1934" in Lawley: Local government.... So, a row of cottages in Horsehay / Lawley, and now part of the name of a Conservation Area. Not a lot. PamD 09:08, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
