• Note (History of Bangladesh After 1971) prehistory cleanup discussion; prehistory page already existed (History of Bengal before 1947), Before Bangladesh independence page (History of East Pakistan after 1947-1971). In the History of Korea page, there is no combined history. If there is a separate page, why do we need to combine history?

• Comment, it appears History of West Bengal (1947–present) was originally History of West Bengal, until that was moved and the bracket-less title reclaimed for pre-partition West Bengal last year. Confusing situation, that seems a bit duplicating. History of West Bengal (1947–present) should moved back to History of West Bengal, while this article merged with a combined West Bengal history article ("new" entities can have earlier history) or with History of Bengal (with "History of West Bengal" only being as it existed).
