No, I did that because the whole article goes too much into a hagiographic direction. That Szasz quote is just one example. This guy is WP:FRINGE and needs to be treated accordingly. --Hob Gadling (talk) 19:46, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Errmmm, you began your opening sentence above with my edit? And then said "The content of the quote is just that Szasz liked him and that they agreed about their fringe ideas"?? Martinevans123 (talk) 19:53, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. I do not know what are you trying to say by repeating that.
I told you the reason why I alerted FTN because you asked. I see no point in a lengthy discussion about whether that was my reason for alerting FTN. Instead this page is about how to improve the article. --Hob Gadling (talk) 20:07, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously you don't know. I guess you could not possibly imagine how anyone might interpret your comment as I did. Good luck at WP:FTN. I don't see much mention if WP:FRINGE at Thomas Szasz. If you really think this article "has hagiographic elements", you could always enumerate them here and request a discussion. I suspect that's what the good folk at WP:FTN will advise you to do. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:24, 1 January 2024 (UTC) p.s. if you want to help improve the article, you might want to start by searching for any source(s) for his date and place of birth? I don't think those are "hagiographic elements".[reply]
I guess you could not possibly imagine how anyone might interpret your comment as I did True, because you never said how you interpret it. I can not read your thoughts unless you write them down here.
FTN has all different sorts of experts, and they know what to do. (I am not interested in birth dates. I am interested in keeping profringe text out. It's called division of labor.) --Hob Gadling (talk) 21:22, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was a guess about general interpretation, not just mine. I guess you'd see "division of labor" as more important than collaboration. I await the arrival of the FTN experts with interest. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:53, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
