All-around solid and on its way. You've sheared off most of the reliable sources that held you back at GA1, but BroadwayWorld must go, and I still have a question related to Animated Views. There are also the usual round of copy changes. Ping me when addressed. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 06:20, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know? If you fancy doing so, I always have plenty of GA nominees to review. Just look for the all-uppercase titles in the Television section. Reviews always appreciated.

Copy changes

Lead

  • it is the third installment in Disney's Cinderella trilogy, and a sequel to Cinderella (1950) and Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002) Remove this unneeded comma.
  • Unlike most of Disney's direct-to-video sequels, it received generally positive reviews from critics, who deemed it a vast improvement over its immediate predecessor, and praised the character developments of Cinderella, the Prince, and Anastasia. Remove the comma after "predecessor" because it causes a sentence structure issue.

Plot

  • Meanwhile, Cinderella manages to steal the wand from Lady Tremaine's bedroom, but is seized by guards before she can reverse the spell Remove comma after "bedroom" WP:CINS
  • Whom, not who, in the sentence after
  • Regaining her true form, Anastasia offers to return the seashell to the King but he refuses, reminding her that everyone deserves a chance at love. Add a comma after King
  • She offers to undo Lady Tremaine's change of events, but upon seeing that Cinderella and the Prince's love has grown stronger, decides to leave them be. Move the comma from after "events" to after "but"

Production

  • Nissen opted to ignore the studio's negative reputation, and focus on simply making the best film he could possibly make. Remove comma CinS
  • these character's voices should be "characters'"
  • and "Her attitude toward life" don't capitalize the H
  • ending fall 2006 Can we try "late" 2006 instead? MOS:SEASONS is worth taking into account, especially as the film was animated in Australia in the Southern Hemisphere.
  • DisneyToon will abandon sequels Tense shift, should be "would"
  • They had also written the book and music for Twice Charmed, and previously served as musical consultants on Dreams Come True. Remove comma CinS
  • A soundtrack released March 2, 2007 is available for digital download on Apple Music, which also features a cover by singer Laura Dickinson.
    • Remember your MOS:DATECOMMAs.
    • Consider reordering: A soundtrack released March 2, 2007, and featuring a cover by singer Laura Dickinson is available for digital download on Apple Music.

Sourcing and spot checks

Priority item @Changedforbetter: BroadwayWorld is considered generally unreliable. There are two refs to it here. Please find replacements. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 05:21, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • What makes [34] Animated Views reliable if it's citing The Disney Database for this item?
  • When I checked RT, Cinderella II had a rating of 13, not 11, percent.

The non-free cover art has a NFUR. The Hugh Grant image is appropriate with VRT ticket. Encouragement: Add alt text.
