We should note that it was the Prime Minister of Iraq, Haidar al-Abadi, who had asked for help from Turkey in the operations against Daesh. In a 2014 press conference with then-Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu, al-Abadi said that his government needed "military, intelligence, arms and training support" from Turkey and help from "every neighboring country." -78.171.192.197 (talk) 12:59, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Stoning of Du'a Khalil Aswad
I have added a paragraph about the stoning of Du'a Khalil Aswad, with three references. The History of the article shows that mention of the incident has been removed more than once in the past. --Frans Fowler (talk) 17:47, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
