The page claims that the story is set in the 1850s, although Sara in one scene sings the tune of the waltz 'The Blue Danube' which was composed in 1866 and first performed in 1867. The German Wikipedia page says the story is set in the 1880s which is more likely because by that time the waltz has already become very popular.
