Proposed split
As more details about Angry Birds Space have emerged, the evidence is pretty clear that the game is a significant change from earlier Angry Birds titles. As such, I believe that the game should have its own separate article, in order to discuss its particular gameplay mechanics. Since this name already exists (as a redirect back to Angry Birds), we're basically ready to go.
- Support as nominator. --McDoobAU93 15:32, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- Support The gameplay in the game is enough of a departure from the original to warrant it as a separate product. This also isn't a unknown app store release. This is a major title release by a major vendor and just like other video games release for systems like the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, major app store games should have their own articles. - Support - I can find a lot of third-party articles about reviews of the game (which thankfully are mostly positive), teasers, and the very extensive marketing the game has before release. I'm already having a vague idea of the structure of the article. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 09:28, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
- Strong Support - Yep, it's a huge difference from the previous games. Qantasplanes (talk) 11:10, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
- Support not only that, but this page needs to be renamed Angry Birds (Franchise) and articles created for each conception of the game. Angry Birds is more than just a game now, it's also about merchandising and media. About movies and the,e parks. It's an entire social phenomomom.--JOJ Hutton 17:16, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
- Support Puls this game probably got WAY more than angry birds rio in it's first few days — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wweguy213 (talk • contribs) 15:22, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- Comment I've been thinking along those lines myself, although I'm wondering if we can accomplish the same thing by keeping the main game at Angry Birds and discussing the overall franchise there, then have separate articles for the various games. It is something to consider going forward, that's for sure. --McDoobAU93 17:55, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
- Support - per IngigoAK200's argument. Pim Rijkee (talk) 08:45, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
- Support-This game is different from the original Angry Birds game. Also, if every Angry Birds game gets its own article. This one also deserves its own article.--Alza08 (talk) 05:19, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
What exactly does this mean?
If you download this game on a Samsung Android device, no matter which version you get, unlocking an Eggsteroid gives you a special level and playing Danger Zone will unlock all Danger Zone levels for free. This does not make sense, what is an Eggsteroid? What is Danger Zone? No-one will know! So please change it. TheChampionMan1234 (talk) 03:52, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- Done Removed it for two reasons. First, it's uncited, and thus can be challenged and removed at any time. Second, Wikipedia is not a gaming strategy guide, so telling readers how to unlock things generally isn't appropriate (there are limited exceptions, but this doesn't fit so far). --McDoobAU93 04:13, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
possible addition of a plot?
hello? is it possible to add a plot section to this article? if so, this vid can be used for reference; it's the official prequel short to the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zc-XlVLHJDo Visokor (talk) 19:54, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Proposed Merge
This article is rather too short, I did notice that it was part of Angry Birds before, but I want it better merged with List of Angry Birds games. I know that there is currently a merge proposal going on there, and if it is succesful, we should merge it to Angry Birds. TheChampionMan1234 (talk) 03:46, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Cast
Here is the cast that was removed from the article, this is not a notable cast and there is no reference.
Red-Keith Ferguson Chuck-Jeremy Shada Bomb-Bumber Robinson The Blues- Niki Yang Ice Bird-Tom Kenny Terence- Mark Hamill
The pigs are voiced by: Carlos Alazraqui — Preceding unsigned comment added by Frmorrison (talk • contribs) 18:43, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- Per WP:GAMECRUFT, information on voice actors for video games is only notable in very specific circumstances. This doesn't rise to that. --McDoobAU93 15:05, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Special Roku Port
I vaguely remember playing an official port of Angry Birds Space on a Roku 3. Searching it up shows that the port does exist, but for the older generations of the Roku. At least mentioning the port in the infobox should be a start. beepborp (talk) 04:34, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
