Brief explanation of my change of date format from dmy to mdy
I do understand that the article, from its first edit, was in the dmy format and has predominantly used that format until recently. However, MOS:DATERET states that strong national ties overrides the first contributor rule. Clearly the subject has strong national ties to the United States and the my switching the article over from dmy to mdy was proper on that basis under the quoted guideline.
