Talk:Alex Rider (character)

Alex's Birthday

Why does it say that it's February 13th? It's January 13th, and I have a quote from Scorpia to prove it:

"March? What year was this?" "It was fourteen years ago, Alex. March 13th. You were exactly two months old."

Page 119. You can check if you like. 2 months before March is January. Just saying why I'm changing it so you don't think I'm making a harmful edit.--Shroopliss 01:13, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to edit out his Birthday. In Snakehead he remembers the tsunami in 2004. Therefore he must have been younger than 14 in 2004. Placing his date of Birth in the 1990s.

Fair use rationale for Image:Breaker2.jpg

Image:Breaker2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Book sections

I question whether the book sections should be plot summaries - these are given anyway in the articles on the individual books. These sections should rather concentrate on what the books reveal about Alex himself, his character and personal history. Robina Fox (talk) 08:25, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since when?

Since when was he called Alexander? RTY1998 (talk) 20:59, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that too. I guess it was just speculataion. I'll fix that now, Lord Spongefrog, (Talk to me, or I'll eat your liver!) 21:00, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chronological order

A suggestion for somebody in the know - How about a timeline for the novels? Granted, most of the are linear, but it would help the casual observer to know where Incident in Nice etc, fits into the chronology. —Preceding unsigned comment added by A man alone (talk • contribs) 20:11, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Inline citations

This article has 18 citations/references - unless anybody thinks otherwise I'll remove the {{Citations missing|date=January 2008}} tag on 21/12/09 - or thereabouts. a_man_alone (talk) 19:07, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
