Numbering of the elements in the table
Is there some reason the table does not include an ordinal rank column? I would think this would be a natural addition, but I don't want to put it in if the idea has already been discussed and rejected. PianoDan (talk) 18:03, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- The relative rank of the elements is not notable. Sources don't give it and the variability of the values makes the relative rank vary. Johnjbarton (talk) 02:45, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
Proposal to remove Atomic fraction from the table.
The last column in the table "Estimated abundances of chemical elements in the Earth" is " fraction by number of atoms in parts per billion (ppb)". But these numbers are not from a source. What is their purpose here? Johnjbarton (talk) 02:47, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
