Talk:Abdul Rahman Yasin

iraqi terrorists category

There seems to be a small revert war going on, putting and removing the category. However, the category doesnt exist (AFAICT), so there seems to be little point to adding it. Even if the user deleting it is anonymous. --Storkk 17:54, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Abboud Yassin

is this the same person? http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Laurie_Mylroie&oldid=73963123#Controversy references Abboud Yassin, who has no wikipedia entry.

both had chemical burns on their legs.

I think they are the same guy. And that guy is from Pakistan. The Bergen information, which debunks Mylroie's claims, is interesting.--kat —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.19.28 (talk) 14:26, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dates

The article claims that Yasin was picked up and questioned by FBI agents on March 4, 1993, but the article later says that Yasin boarded a Royal Jordanian flight for Amman on February 26, 1993. How do we resolve the inconsistency? 9591353082 (talk) 21:14, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have a photo of an individual encountered in Iraq whose biometric data came up as Abd-al-Rahman Yasin

Name in subject is transliterated from Abdul Rahman Yasin. Also, I'm going to forgo a detailed background of the situation leading to the photograph. In any case I have a photo taken in March 2008 near Musayib, Iraq of an individual who became of interest after a biometric data base ID'ed him as Abdul Rahman Yasin. Attempts to contact FBI personnel in Baghdad did not pan out too well and given the political sensitivity of holding a high-level Shi'a cleric the decision was made to let the person go. Soldiers at the scene identified a scar just above the individual's chin but did not wish to make him lift his dishdasha in public to look for another scar/birthmark. The individual also spoke perfect English. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.125.31.110 (talk) 07:49, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Concerning Al-Qaeda Connections to the WTC Bombing

The end of the article mentions that no direct connection was established between the Bombing and Al-Qaeda, whilst the actual bombing article plainly states otherwise. This discrepancy ought to be clarified or corrected by someone with more information. Aurelinius (talk) 07:24, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
