Balcony Collapse
The balcony collapse didn't kill several people, and it wasn't in the mid-90s; it was in the late 80s or in 1990-91. Three people were injured and one had a serious head injury. I can't find a good source - it was covered in newspapers at the time. --Lizzard (talk) 18:26, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
It happened in October, 1987. The balcony had been attached by nailing into the end-grain of floor joists. Published photographs showed birds' nests in the space that had opened up before the final collapse. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.55.61.108 (talk) 22:26, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
