Just a heads up that this article may need to be moved to 2015–2016 Great Britain and Irelands floods if it continues into 2016. This seems very likely. JollyΩJanner07:54, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
NASA or ESA?
The image used in the infobox uses a copyright tag that says this work is in the public domain because it was created by NASA, but doesn't Tim Peake work for the ESA, so does this tag apply as it isn't actually created by NASA? Seagull123 Φ 17:24, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Should this article be named "2015-16 British Isles floods? The Isle of Man is covered, but is not part of Ireland nor of Great Britain. 86.153.24.162 (talk) 23:01, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
British Isles is typically avoided in articles which cover Ireland as its usage is contested by Irish people. I think the current title can be assumed to cover the Isle of Man without the need to change it. JollyΩJanner23:09, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
But this is an encyclopaedia, not Twitter. Offence taken by a particular group should not influence factual accuracy. And as it stands, the article title is not accurate. It is absurd that this should be the case just to ensure that some Irish people don't get upset. 86.153.24.162 (talk) 23:14, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think it may be best to leave this topic open for a while before making any decision. I agree that the name British Isles would be more factually accurate for the article. JollyΩJanner00:43, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
